Chawal ki kheer (Khajur gur e pyesh)



Its a Bengali sweet dish & very tempting and mouth-watering dessert.


Ingredients
Milk 1 litre
Rice 1 handful
Sugar 2 tbsp
Dates Jaggery (Khajur Gur) more than ½ cup
Dry Fruits - cashew, Raisins, Almonds & Pistachios
Ghee 2 tbsp


Method
  1. Wash the rice.
  2. Put ghee on a wok and fry the dry fruits of your choice.
  3. Take a wok. Put the milk and let it boil.
  4. When milk starts to boil add the rice into the milk. Sim the flame and let rice cooked properly.
  5. When rice cooked add sugar and gur and off the flame.
  6. At end add the dry fruits and serve it chilled. Enjoy!!!
