Bharwan Bhindi (Stuffed Okra)


Ingredients
Ladies Finger/Okra ( Bhindi ) 250 gms
Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder) 1 tsp
Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder) 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 1/2 tsp
Dry Mango Powder (Amchur Powder) 1 tsp
Garlic 2-3 cloves, Chopped
Salt to taste
Vegetable Oil 2 tsp

Method
1. Wash okra and pat dry, cut both ends and slit in between lengthwise.
2. Take a bowl add all dry spices and oil. Mix well to combine. Adjust salt or spice if required.
3. Stuff each okra with this masala and if masala remains you can rub over the okra. keep aside.
4. Heat oil in a pan and add the stuffed okra.
5. Cover with a lid and cook them on a low flame. Turn them occasionally to cook evenly from all sides or until soft, off flame.
6. Serve warm with rice, roti or raita.
