Spicy Tilepia Fillet (Spicy Fish)

Spicy Tilepia Fillet


Ingredients

1st Marinade
Tilepia Fish Fillet 1/2 pound
Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
Ginger Paste 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 1 tsp, Crushed
Red Chili Flakes 1 tsp
Black Pepper 1/2 tsp, Crushed
Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 1 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek Leaves (Kasoori Methi) 1 tsp, Crushed
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

2nd Marinade
Yogurt (Dahi) 3 tbsp
Cornflour 11/2 tsp
Paprika 1/2 tsp

Butter 2 tbsp
Olive Oil 1 tsp
Fresh Coriander Leaves, chopped - For garnishing

Method
1. Clean and cut the fish fillets into halves. Then apply salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric power. Leave it for 15 mins.
2. Now mix all the 1st marinade together and make a smooth mixture.
3. Apply the mixture on the fish fillets. Marinate the fillets and refrigerate it for half an hour or more.
4. Now mix the 2nd marinade together yogurt, cornflour & paprika.
5. Heat pan add butter & olive oil. Let it melt.
6. Now add butter & olive oil to the 2nd marinade and make smooth paste.
7. Apply the yogurt & butter mixture to fish fillet. Keep aside.
8. Heat a pan then add the fish fillets with its mixture and fry from both sides until fish fillets are cooked well & brown color come on both sides.
9. Serve hot in plate and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
10. Enjoy spicy fish fillets with Jeera rice or steamed rice.
