Garlic Chicken Wings

Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients
Chicken wings 6 pieces
Hot sauce 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Black Pepper, crushed 2 tsp
All-Purpose Flour 1 cup
Vegetable Oil 2 tbsp
Cooking Spray
Onion 1, medium (sliced for garnishing)

For Glaze
Garlic pods 3, chopped
Ginger root, minced 1 tsp
Chili Sauce 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar 1/2 cup
Soy Sauce 1 tbsp

Method
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Cover baking tray with aluminium foil and grease the foil with cooking spray.
3. In a large mixing bowl add chicken wings, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Now add vegetable oil; toss to coat.
4. Place the flour and chicken wings in a large food-safe plastic bag (zip-pouch).Hold the bag closed tightly and shake to coat the wings entirely with the flour mixture.
5. Arrange the chicken wings on the baking sheets and make sure the pieces are not touching one another. Spray wings with additional cooking spray.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 mins, turn all the wings occasionally and cook until crisp.
7. Heat pan add chopped garlic, ginger, chili sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and soy sauce. Bring the mixture to boil and immediately remove from heat.
8. In a large mixing bowl add the chicken and the sauce. Toss the wings so that sauce coat evenly. Now allow to sit for about 5 mins. and allow the sauce to soak into the wings before serving.
9. Transfer to serving tray and garnish with onions. Enjoy!!!
